Function

SystemSoft's prime function is the development of bespoke computer software. 

We're familiar with the programming languages used for device-level programming (mainly 'C' but some 'C++' and a little 'C#)'.  We've used many assemblers in the past and can dig out legacy skills for 'dead' languages like Pascal, and OS's like DOS.

In addition, our work at device driver level means that we need to be able to understand the basics of hardware interfacing and we have oscilloscopes and logic analysers that we can use in support of this.

Capabilities

We can take responsibility for some or all parts of a software development.

In many cases we work right through from Functional Specification up to customer Acceptance Testing, and continue to provide maintenance and support following deployment.

Another common scenario is that we handle the implementation of one end of a communications development. The other end may be already defined (e.g. X25), or it may be a new protocol which we're developing in conjunction with our customer.

The third area in which we often find ourselves is to cover for an expertise or resource shortfall inside an already-established development team
