SystemSoft Service - WHQL Testing

With the introduction of Windows 2000, Microsoft added the concept of 'Driver Signing' as a means of strengthening the end-user perceived reliability of the Windows Operating System. With the subsequent introduction of Windows XP and Windows Vista the requirement for driver signing has become ever more stringent

Drivers are signed when they have passed a suit of tests defined by Microsoft and made available to developers via the Windows Hardware and Driver Central (www.microsoft.com/whdc) Website.  In many cases Microsoft can 'sign' the drivers on the basis of a completed set of test logs. In some cases however a full hardware and software submission must be made in order that Microsoft can undertake testing themselves.

Execution of the tests requires construction of fully windows compatible computer systems and exercising all features of newly-developed drivers. Interpretation of the results, and application of corrective actions, requires a full understanding of the Windows operating system architecture.

SystemSoft are able to configure systems and execute the tests on your behalf. When the tests are successful we can work with you to construct a submission, either log-based or a full submission, to Microsoft with a high degree of confidence that the driver will get 'signed'.
